Please bear in mind that being in a Kinship is about helping each other out and sharing. Please share the wealth, if you win a valuable item, please consider yourself lucky and refrain from rolling for further valuable stuff.

The following is a general overview of rolling for Loot.

Rule 1:
DO NOT loot during combat.

As well as making it difficult to actually fight mobs with a screen full of items, it also makes people rush into making a selection. Needing on items that they should be greeding on and vice versa.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Loot Rolling

Here are the general Loot Rolling rules our Kinship uses when we are fellowing together or leading a Raid*.

We use the Need/Greed/Pass system.

Your default roll action should be [Greed].

Roll for [Need] on these types of drops:

1) Gems, Epic Equipment & other ‘Bind on Aquire’ items**. (Master Looter, will usually be utilised for known drops).
2) Barter Items.
3) Class Specific***.
4) Crafting Items/Recipes: Own crafts only.
5) Other drops that your current character would use.

* If in doubt always ask. Different groups in which we might be involved (but not leading), may have a different system.

** Do not ever [Need] roll for a ‘Bind on Aquire’ item that you do not need, once it bound to you, nobody else can use it.

*** Do not [Need] roll for items because you want to make some Gold at the Auction House.

If you are lucky enough to win a gem/armour barter item during a raid/instance, we ask that you do not roll for any more gems/armour barter items during that current raid/instance.
1 gem per person per raid/instance.

No rolling for alts. You are rolling for the character you are currently on. Also, Players will not be allowed to switch characters during an instance/raid, unless requested to do so by the Leader, for the benefit of the group.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Master Looter

Master Looter is used for mobs/bosses that are known to drop Epic & ‘Bind on Aquire’ items. The group leader will loot the boss and drag the item into the chat channel, so all can inspect it. To roll for these items, type: /roll in the chat channel.

Always pay attention to the Fellow/Raid channel when Master Looting is being done, if you miss your chance to roll for something you needed, it’s tough……..lesson learned.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raid Specific Rules - Rift of Nurz Ghashu

Any gem winners from earlier in the raid (Barz - Thrang), may roll for Epic or Quest items that drop from Thaurlach, they may not roll for another gem.

Any gem winnners from Thaurlach, may not roll for any subsequent Epic or Quest item drops from Thaurlach.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is accepted that we all make mistakes, but members that consistently do not follow the loot rules will not be invited to join groups and run the risk of expulsion from the Kin.

Lucky Rolls be with you……

Raid Specific Rules - Vile Maw & Filikul

R.I.S Points may be used.

Raid Leader will post all of the Loot items in the Raid chat, so that everyone can see what is available before any rolls are made.

Raid Leader decides on which order items will be rolled for.

I would personally suggest the following order:

1) Any Teal/Orange Items (Star Item)
2) 1st Age Legendary Item (Star Item)
3) 2nd Age Legendary Items (Star Item)
4) Barter Coins for Radiance Pieces (Star Item)
5) Anything else.
6) 1st Age Item Barter Coins will be held for Kin R.I.S Auctions.

One "Star" Item per player per raid. So consider carefully what you would really like to win.

R.I.S Auctions - 1st Age Barter Coins

1.) 1st Age Barter Coins will be collected by the designated Coin Collectors for safe keeping.
2.) Auctions will be held every two weeks. All Kin members may attend the auction. But only Kin members who have raided with the Kin within the last 2 weeks will be eligible to roll.
3.) The coins will be Auctioned off in batches of 6.
4.) One 1st Age Item per Player per Auction.
5.) Auctions will use the normal R.I.S procedure. State the number of R.I.S pts you wish to add, roll d100 and add them together. Highest wins…… (All R.I.S rules apply).
6.) The winning player may choose which Legendary item to receive and it’s level. If the required item costs only 4 coins, the remaining coins will be returned to the Kin Auction coin fund.
7.) Players unable to attend an Auction session may designate a Proxy to represent them in the auction. But must inform the Auctioneer prior to the auction.
8.) Auctioneers decision is final.
9.) Auction winners will not be eligable to roll at an Auction for a period of 8 weeks after they have won thier item.

All rules are subject to change. It is the responsibility of every member to stay upto date with any Kin rules.
